Project Overview
This project entails the construction of a new 3-story, 7-unit building from the ground up. The construction will encompass various essential components including foundation, wood framing, and brick masonry. Additionally, our scope of services includes the installation of all-new Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems, comprising sprinkler, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety infrastructure. Moreover, the project involves the installation of a LULA (Limited Use Limited Application) elevator to ensure accessibility across all floors. Lastly, our services extend to encompassing all applicable finishes, ensuring a comprehensive and high-quality final product. Reena is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities providing a range of services aimed at promoting dignity, individuality, independence, personal growth, and community inclusion within the framework of Jewish culture and values. Reena offers safe, independent, community-based housing options, including over 30 residential locations such as group homes and intentional community residences
About the Client
Reena is a non-profit organization that promotes dignity, individuality, independence, personal growth and community inclusion for people with diverse abilities within a framework of Jewish culture and values. Reena was established in 1973 by parents of children with developmental disabilities as a practical alternative to institutions. Since that time Reena has grown to provide support for 1,000 individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Reena offers a variety of services including: residential support, respite programs, counselling, therapy and advocacy. These services are offered in 32 Group Homes and over 60 Supported Independent Living Apartments across the Greater Toronto Area.
